Wilfred van Buuren (1964) Amszterdamban élő történész.
Korábban a Holland Olimpiai Bizottság (NOC*NSF) levéltárosaként dolgozott. 2019 óta az IHLIA LMBTI Heritage gyűjteményi vezetője. A Nico Scheepmaker Beker zsűrijének is tagja, amely a legjobb holland nyelvű sportkönyvért évente kiírt verseny.
Szenvedélyei a könyvek, a férfiak és a kosárlabda.

Wilfred van Buuren (1964) is a historian living in Amsterdam.
In the past he worked as an archivist for the Dutch Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF). Since 2019 he is Head of Collections at IHLIA LGBTI Heritage. He is also member of the jury for the Nico Scheepmaker Beker, the annual contest for the best sportsbook written in Dutch.
His passions are books, men and basketball.
